| prom was frickin awesome! many things are fuzzy but I think the biggest mystery had to do with my sleeping arangement: I slept on a chair, in the fetal position, with someones suit jacket over me cuz all the blankets were gone, and when I woke up the jacket was nowhere to be found nor was anyone wearing it soooo... this means someone who left billy's earlier in the morning than everyone else discovered their suit jacket on a shivering sleeping girl and then took it and wore it home discreetly? hmmm... anyways today we're going to Buffalo Ridge! get back tomorrow night around 9 and then leave for Montana 36 hours later! | | |
| ahhhh what a day... school seemed to last forever, but as always it only lasted til 2:05 and everything got better... i found a janis joplin cassette in the laundry room, and i have work in an hour and i get to put in my two weeks notice which is so frickin exciting i can't even explain... no more nightmares about pizza, no more khaki visor & awkward shirt & nametag, no more shitty tips at 11:30 on saturday night... screw davanni's... another step closer to the reality of summer approaching, and makes me take notice of how fast this last month is going by. ses is keeping us all busy though, what with millions of assignments and various random field trips. i'm looking forward to the picnic on friday, the random windmill camping trip, prom, glacier, and kinda sorta graduation. just trying to make the most of hanging out with everyone who matters while i have the chance. that's about it. | | |
| Lately the weather never ceases to amaze me.. I wish I had a hammock. I'd like to think that would solve a lot of things. Like what I could be doing while I wait an appropriate and mature amount of time to go get my paycheck. My work opened 15 minutes ago, so I'm thinking I should hold off for a while. If I had a hammock I'd probably be so relaxed and carefree that this dilemma wouldn't even arise. Pointless. So pointless. I think I'll go rollerblading. | | |
| Yesterday I skipped school and went to the parade, it was glorious, and fun to watch adults get hammered at noon... then I worked for a few hours and then began celebrating my (barely) Irish heritage at Kelly's (with a really dysfunctional combination of people)... I woke up with a glittery shamrock on my cheek and a christian boy band tshirt... watched a show about volcanoes... and then roamed AV wearing big sunglasses and sweatpants... and then took a nap... and just found out I get the night off woo... ahhh... I'm done now? | | |
| Ladies and gentlemen, I'm angry and confused.
Why, you ask?
Pearl Jam is coming out with a new album, and Bono was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. This isn't okay!!!! | | |
